Charles is a native Pensacolian and direct descendant of local Spanish
settlers, the de la Rua family, who moved to the area in the 1700’s. After
growing up in East Hill on La Rua Street and graduating from Pensacola
Catholic High School, Charles earned a bachelor’s degree in commerce
and business administration, with a major in finance, at the University of
Alabama.
Following college, Charles moved to Birmingham, Alabama where he
worked in banking and sales for 13 years. In Birmingham, he met and
married his wife, Jennifer. In 2014, they welcomed their first child and
moved back to Pensacola to be closer to family. Charles and Jennifer
added twins in June 2017 and are delighted to raise their family in his
hometown.
Upon moving home, Charles transitioned his career into real estate. This
served as an exciting opportunity to leverage his proven sales and
finance experience and enjoyment of building meaningful client
relationships. Whether you’re buying or selling, Charles looks forward
to assisting you with a wide range of real estate needs.
